Empathy empathy derives from the Greek word "empatheia" ("empathy") and means to identify thoughts and feelings of another person as much as possible and to interpret from the point of view and perspective of the other. It is mixed, as it were in the other's position and tried to be clear about what this feels, thinks, or how the person would behave in a different situation.
